What times are your return services?
We depart Great Keppel Island every day at 4pm.
Friday also has a 6:20pm departure, unless we have a scheduled 9:30pm late return.
Sundays also have a 2pm.
Can I amend my ticket once I've booked?
You sure can, pop us an email or send us a text - 0484 241 505.
Can I return on a different day to my outbound service?
Your return is valid on any departure, any day. We just ask that if you'd like to return on a different service to the one originally nominated, that you amend with us to ensure availability.
Can I take my dog to Great Keppel Island?
You sure can! As it is not a National Park, dogs are welcome on GKI. They travel for free on our services however the island accommodation is mostly not pet friendly.
Do you offer concession rates?
We sure do, we offer a $30 transfer with a valid concession card. We also offer our $30 early bird every weekend and every day throughout QLD school holidays.
Can I go to Keppel for just a day?
Absolutely, Great Keppel is not privately owned and welcomes day trippers.
What luggage restrictions are there on the ferry?
You may take 1 x 23KG luggage item per passenger as well as a carry-on luggage item.
What is considered an oversized esky?
We do not accept eskies over 23kg. Please note, if you are staying for a while on the island, your esky is easier to go over empty and with drinks still in their original cartons and ice purchased on the island at the Hideaway.
Where do you depart from?
We can be a little tricky due to restrictions around signage so please ensure you leave enough time to check in.
Turn off the scenic highway towards Rosslyn Bay Harbour. You’ll come to a mini roundabout, take the first exit to Keppel Bay Marina. As you come down past the car park with boat trailers, there’s a little ‘A’ frame board with Keppel Konnections on, turn right and drive towards the dirt loading area. You can pull right in and unload next to the yellow shade area at the top of the red jetty but please park at either the security car park or out in the marina main car park. Please check in at our little green ticket shed at the top of the ramp.
Route 20 bus service with Youngs Buses stops directly outside the main marina terminal. Please note, this is not your check in area. Walk straight through the marina building and turn right at the path on the waters edge. Follow that path to the little yellow shade area and check in at the green ticket shed.
Where can I park my car and does it cost anything?
There is free parking at the marina. This is not a secure or patrolled car park and parking is at your own risk. We recommend the GKI Security Car Park, available on Facebook or via email.
